Alessandra Piano
Psychologist and Medicine-Assisted Therapist
Alessandra grew up and studied in Italy before moving to Australia, where she completed her postgraduate psychology training program. Her work is grounded in a strong interest in trauma and the belief that meaningful change comes through insight, connection, validation, and emotional processing. Ale draws her approach from psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, parts work (IFS), and yoga/mindfulness-based somatic approaches to support each person's unique needs. She offers a warm, collaborative space and has experience working with adolescents, adults, and groups around issues such as depression, anxiety, complex trauma, personality patterns, relationships, parenting, sexuality, and identity. She is committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment for LGBTQ+ clients, those in consensual non-monogamous relationships, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Ale has completed specialist training and mentoring in medicine-assisted therapy.
